DRIED FRUITS AND NUTS FROM TAJIKISTAN

Tajikistan is a mountainous country, but the temperate climate and fertile soil create the conditions for the development of horticulture.

 

Fruits and nuts are tasty and healthy because they have absorbed the rays of the bright sun, the clean, cool air and the kindness of the hearts of Tajik farmers.

COMPOTE MIXTURE

Compote mixes are made from natural organic fruits, fruits and berries. Only fully ripe fruits that are not damaged by diseases and pests can be taken to create mixtures. Thanks to gentle drying, almost no water remains in them, but nutrients, vitamins and trace elements are preserved in full, and often their concentration even increases.

Due to the multicomponent composition, which usually includes at least 7 types of fruits and vegetables (apple and pear, quince and prunes, apricots and dried apricots, raisins, etc.), the compote mixture has a complex positive effect on the body.

WALNUTS

The homeland of the walnut is Central Asia. It is called food for the mind, since from ancient times it has fed, restored strength and healed a person. Walnut is a storehouse of vitamins and a good prevention of many diseases. Walnuts are rich in vitamins, minerals, essential oils, organic acids and fiber. Despite the fact that nuts contain about 70% fat, most of these fats are unsaturated, healthy.

DRIED APRICOTS

It is one of the delicious and meaty varieties. Some consider it the most delicious. It tastes sweet and sour. Soft and dissolves quickly. It is especially recommended for those who suffer from diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases and hypovitaminosis. 

Apricot variety “Hurmoi” and “Shishahurmoi” are one of the oldest varieties of local origin. It is also used fresh. Depending on the variety, the fruits are medium and large in size and reach an average of 25-35g in weight. The fruits of ” Hurmoi ” are dried without pitting and in the form of kaisa – after pitting.

DRIED APRICOTS EXTRA

Dried apricots go through the process of food processing and drying but they retain useful properties and vitamins. Among the most persistent are vitamins A, B6, B5, B2, PP and C. 100 g of dried apricots contain one-fifth of the daily value of potassium, as well as magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and essential amino acids.

Apricot variety “Mirsanjali” is one of the oldest dried fruit varieties of local origin. Depending on the type of variety, there are several varieties that differ in size, shape, color of the fruit. Fruits are medium in size, weighing 25-30g. Mirsanjali fruits are dried without pitting and in the form of kaisa – after pitting. One of the best commercial grade.

PLUMS EXTRA (UNPITTED)

The prune lives up to its name, as its color is black. The shape of such fruits is round, flattened, and may be slightly oblong. The surface of the dried fruit is wrinkled; it is dry and slightly sticky to the touch. The pulp is firm, dark, resembling in its structure the pulp of dried apricot.

Taste characteristics. These fruits, when dried, do not lose their sweetness, if, of course, they were prepared from a product of a suitable variety. Some sourness and smoked flavor are felt, but there should be no bitterness in prunes at all.

PLUMS EXTRA (PITTED)

Prunes are one of the healthiest and most popular dried fruits of all known foods. This is the dried fruit of the plum. It is appreciated not only for its excellent taste, but also for the unique composition of various vitamins, minerals and substances that are simply beneficial to the body.

Dried grapes (raisins) are very useful because they retain their best qualities (up to 100% of trace elements and 70-80% of vitamins) for a very long time. The greatest benefits, according to nutritionists, are dark berries. 

Golden raisins contain a lot of magnesium, sodium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, B and PP vitamins. This tiny, dried fruit is packed with minerals, proteins, thiamine and niacin. The antioxidants in raisins inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause dental disease.

RAISINS BLACK

Dark raisins, as well as dark grapes and wine, are considered healthier. Raisins are useful: to strengthen the cardiovascular system, to increase immunity, to normalize the functioning of the nervous system, as a remedy for anemia, a source of iron.

The raisins contain glucose and fructose, dietary fiber, vitamins of group B (B1, B2, B5), H and PP, a large amount of potassium, as well as necessary minerals: calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus and sodium. Raisins are recommended for use in case of violations of the activity of the heart muscle, with nervous disorders, insomnia. The antioxidants contained in raisins inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, especially in the oral cavity, so raisins can be safely called a prophylactic agent against stomatitis and caries.
