Representatives of five Tajik dried fruit processing companies presented their products at one of the largest food and beverage events in Tokyo, Japan, Japan International Food Expo (JFEX) 2023 from June 21 to 23, 2023.

The main purpose of participation was to promote natural products produced by the dried fruit and nut processing companies – members of International Association of Producers and Exporters of Agriproducts of Tajikistan (IAPEAT) and explore export opportunities.

Business meetings between visitors and dry fruit processors were also held during the exhibition, and as a result, numerous business opportunities were created. The participants also got acquainted with new trends and innovations in the food industry and packaging technologies.

The direct participation of companies and the presentation of products manufactured in Tajikistan will help not only increase sales and expand the geography of sales, but also contribute to improving the image of companies and the country as a whole. The Integrated Rural Development Project/TRIGGER will continue to support local dried fruit processing companies in the future.
